Easy setup and great picture
Ordered from Amazon with overnight delivery (4 bucks for us prime members). Delivery was on time. Unpacked the set, turned the set on and let the set do the auto setup thing. Found my satellite feed after a few minutes as well as the over the air local stations. The TV's picture and sound is outstanding at the default settings; not going to mess with it. The 26 inch screen is just right for us as we have been watching a TV this size for years. And the Amazon price was right. Highly recommended to all.

Wow!! Even this novice could understand the user guide in setting this TV up for viewing and VCR recording. Over the past couple of months I read every review written as well as Consumer Reports and decided to purchase this TV. Sure glad I did. My money was well spent.

Samsung LN26A450 26" LCD TV
This is a GREAT TV and has a wonderful picture. All my friends have noticed how good it looks, especially on a HI-Def 720P/1080I cable channel. Unless you have a BLU-RAY player and a lot of 1080P movies, don't bother getting a 1080P TV, because there is very little difference in the pic. I have a 46" Sony Bravia 1080P and the pic on this Samgsung 720P is just as good. I wish now I had gotten a 52" Samsung instead of the Sony. You will love this TV and for the price, it's a good deal. You can buy cheaper, but that's what you will get too. I got one as a gift, put it in the kitchen and liked it so much I bought one for my home office, so I have two of them. 5-stars. ENJOY

Not the right TV for mounting above eye level
The TV worked very well and had a great picture when viewing it at eye level; however, I purchased this TV for my bedroom and was mounting it about 7 ft. up. Unfortunately, the picture quality when viewing it from this angle was very poor. The screen was very dark and it was difficult to make out the images. I don't want to give it a poor rating because with the exception of this, it was a good TV.

I opted for the the Panasonic, which was also a very good TV and did not have this problem.
