Out of the Box failure
I purchased the system as a Christmas gift, but after two days of operation, the transmitter no longer worked....

Good value for this price
The Acoustic Research Indoor Wireless Speakers are incredibly easy to install, just plug speaker power supplies and transmitter into the wall, connect transmitter to the headphone jack, and off you go. It's true they're not 0 speakers, but they work fine for playing MP3s off the computer or for Internet radio stations. My only gripe is that the transmitter shuts down after a very short while of having no signal . . . so you'd better have a playlist in mind if you're using this outfit.

Love these speakers
This is the second set I have ordered in the past year. One set for me and one set for a friend who, after hearing mine, wanted a set. We both love these speakers.

COULDN'T BE HAPPIER
These speakers arrived today and it took me all of 10 minutes to set them up. It only took that long because it took me that long to figure out that I would need to use one of the provided adapters to hook the transmitter up to my Bose system.
The speakers work beautifully, have a wonderful sound and there isn't a hint of static. I might get lots more.
I would recommend these to anyone.

Great for bad hearing
Purchased this item a few weeks ago. Extremely satisfied, will probably buy and additional one for a friend. The room I have my Tv in is large with vaulted ceilings, and I am probably 20 feet away from the set. I found that I had to turn the tv sound up all the way to hear certain programs. With the Acoustic Research speakers, I can now place them to the right and left of where I sit and hear the tv in stero, it is fantastic. I love them. Easy to set up, just plug them in. Works great, would highly recommend.
